1Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using https://ancientmodernfinishes.com or any page under it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, do not use the site.

You confirm you are able to enter into a binding agreement. The site is available to individuals at least 13 years old. Ancient Modern Finishes, Inc owns and operates it.

2What this site does

This site shows the work we do: interior and exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, decorative and plaster finishes, epoxy floors, and entry and garage door refinishing. It publishes photographs of completed projects, starting figures for each service, customer reviews, and a map of jobs we have finished.

The site is not a checkout. Nothing is bought, sold, or paid for here. The forms send us an enquiry and nothing more. Work, final pricing, scheduling, and payment are all agreed directly with us by phone, by email, or in person before anything starts.

3Estimates, pricing, and booking work

Figures published on this site are starting points, not quotes. Every one is marked as a starting figure and says what it buys. What a job actually costs depends on the size of the space, the condition of the surfaces, the amount of preparation and repair needed, the products specified, and access.

A price becomes a price when we have seen the property and sent you a written itemised estimate. Timelines given on this site or on a call are estimates too, and exterior work in particular is decided by the weather.

Work is booked on a 50% deposit against the written estimate. Nothing outside that estimate is added without your approval first. The workmanship warranty described elsewhere on this site runs for 3 years and is set out in full in your estimate; that document is what governs it.

4What you send us

If you send us photographs of your property, colour references, plans, or any other material through this site or by email, you confirm you have the right to send it, and you allow us to use it to prepare your estimate and to carry out the work.

We may decline to act on anything unlawful, infringing, or offensive. Do not send payment card numbers, account credentials, or government identifiers through the forms on this site; we do not ask for them and have no use for them.

5Our content

The text, photographs, video, layout, logo, and branding on this site belong to Ancient Modern Finishes, Inc or to its licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. The project photography is of work carried out by this company at real properties.

You may look at it, print a page, and share a link to it. You may not republish it, use it commercially, or present it as your own portfolio without our written permission. Using this site grants you no licence to any of our trademarks or to those of any third party appearing on it.

6Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for anything unlawful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system.
• Interfere with the site’s operation, or introduce malicious code to it.
• Submit a form automatically, in volume, or under a false identity. Forms here are rate-limited and automated submissions are discarded.
• Scrape or harvest content, including the project photography and the review text, by automated means beyond what our robots.txt permits.

We may block access to the site, in whole or in part, with or without notice, where we believe this section has been breached.

7Third-party tools and links

Parts of this site rely on services we do not control: a Google My Maps layer for the project map, a Calendly page for booking a consultation, video hosting for the testimonials, and our Google Business Profile for reviews. Each is governed by its own terms and its own privacy practices.

We have not reviewed and cannot review everything on the sites we link to or that link to us. Linking to something is not an endorsement of it, and we are not responsible for its content, accuracy, or effects.

8No warranty on the site

The site is provided as is. Ancient Modern Finishes, Inc and its suppliers and licensors disclaim all warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be error free or that access to it will be continuous or uninterrupted, and it may contain technical inaccuracies and typographical mistakes.

Colours in photographs on this site are representative. A screen cannot reproduce a paint or plaster colour reliably, and the light in a room changes it again. Choose colours from a physical sample or a sample applied at the property, not from this site.

Nothing in this section limits the workmanship warranty on work we carry out. That is a separate promise and it is set out in your written estimate.

9Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ancient Modern Finishes, Inc and its suppliers and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, including loss of use or loss of data, and our total liability arising from the site will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by matters outside our control. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ancient Modern Finishes, Inc, its contractors, its licensors, and their directors, officers, employees, and agents against any claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from material you send us, from your breach of these terms, or from your misuse of this site.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, excluding its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to your use of this site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lee County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Failing to enforce a term on one occasion does not waive it.

12Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of the page is the date of the version you are reading, and continued use of the site after a change is published counts as acceptance of it. Terms agreed in a signed written estimate are not changed by anything published here after you signed it.
